I also work with partners of sex addicts. The feelings of betrayal and hurt can be overwhelming for those in relationships with addicts and I use my experience and understanding of sex addiction to help partners, who can feel overlooked in the recovery process.
My way of working is Integrative. This means I use elements of various psychotherapy and counselling traditions, including Psychodynamic therapy, C.B.T. (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy) and Humanistic approaches.
Supervision for Psychotherapists:
I offer Supervision at a rate of £60 - £75 for 50 minutes for therapists who would describe themselves as Integrative in approach. Lower rates are for students who do not already have an established practice. I hold a Certificate on the Theory and Practice of Supervision from the Metanoia Institute. I work online or in person in Swansea and South-West Wales and quarterly in London.
